L’A.S.D. Golf Club Punta Ala ha iniziato la sua attività nella primavera dell’anno 1964. Il campo, situato in una zona panoramica con vista sul mare, sviluppa una lunghezza complessiva di mt. 6.168 con un PAR 72.
Con leggere e naturali ondulazioni del terreno, si sviluppa nel bel mezzo della “macchia maremmana” composta da una folta vegetazione di alberi sempreverdi: pini domestici e marittimi, sughere, lecci secolari, querce e cespugli di albatro, che costituiscono anche bellissimi ostacoli naturali per il gioco.
